Apartment renovation in the heart of Cremona

A new balance between history and contemporary living

In the historic centre of Cremona, just a few steps from Piazza Stradivari, a project takes shape that brings together architectural memory and contemporary vision.
The apartment is located within Palazzo Corteverdi, an important redevelopment project of the former Bank of Italy headquarters, designed by architect Stefano Boeri in collaboration with Findonati.

A setting of great value, where every design choice is called to engage with history, without ever overpowering it.

The project stems from the desire to give new life to the interiors, while maintaining a balance between elegance, functionality and contemporary identity. Every design choice works on the relationship between materials, light, proportions and furnishings, with the aim of creating a refined yet deeply liveable home.

This project reflects the Devincenti method: listening, bespoke design, material selection and technical care throughout every stage of the process.

Apartment renovation: elegance and new functionality

Renovating an apartment means interpreting the existing space, understanding its constraints and enhancing its potential.

In Casa CRENA, the project works with a sober and contemporary language, where materials, finishes and furnishings interact with the architecture of the space. The home is not transformed in a forced way, but guided towards a new identity, more coherent with the needs of those who live in it.

Every room is designed to be beautiful, functional and harmonious, avoiding random or purely decorative solutions.

The Devincenti method in renovation projects

Every Devincenti project begins with a careful reading of the spaces. Before choosing furnishings and finishes,

In Casa CRENA, the apartment renovation becomes a process of balance: on one side, respect for the existing context; on the other, the desire to create interiors that are contemporary, elegant and functional.

The selection of materials, the definition of the furnishings and the technical coordination all contribute to creating a coherent home, where every detail has a precise role.

The result is an apartment designed to stand the test of time, combining everyday comfort with design quality.

A project shaped by balance and restraint

The interior follows a precise direction: to create an elegant and natural environment, capable of conveying a sense of calm and continuity.
Contrasts are kept to a minimum, leaving room for a soft and coherent palette, interrupted only by a few carefully considered accents that give rhythm to the spaces without weighing them down.

Every element is designed to integrate fluidly, contributing to a relaxed, essential domestic atmosphere that never feels ordinary.

The kitchen as a discreet yet central presence

The Ernestomeda kitchen fits into the space with balance and precision.
The matt glass surfaces interact with the porcelain stoneware countertop with a marble effect, defined by a substantial thickness that enhances its material presence.

An element that draws the eye without imposing itself, maintaining the visual coherence that defines the entire project.
The Bora cooktop completes the composition with an integrated technical solution, designed to combine functionality with formal clarity.

The living area as a space to be lived, without hierarchy

In the living area, the Edra On the Rocks sofa becomes the focal point of the room.
A strong yet welcoming presence, it defines the space without making it rigid, leaving freedom of movement and interpretation.

Working in dialogue with the living area, the Caccaro wall system is designed to combine aesthetics and function: a continuous boiserie that conceals technical and storage elements, keeping the space clean, orderly and essential.

Details that create continuity

It is the details that make the project coherent and recognisable.
The pivot door in acid-etched bronze glass, with a coordinated frame, marks the transition between the living area and the sleeping area with lightness, without interrupting the visual continuity.

An element that does not divide, but accompanies the space, preserving its sense of openness.

A new way of living history

This project begins from an extraordinary context, yet its strength lies in restraint.
It does not seek theatrical effects, but builds a balance made of materials, proportions and conscious choices.

The result is a space that welcomes, relaxes and offers a new idea of living: contemporary, essential and deeply connected to the place in which it takes shape.
