Historic home renovation
An architectural gem where terracotta flooring, exposed brick and pop-inspired furnishings come together between tradition and modernity.
This home is a true architectural gem, where history can be felt in every corner. The terracotta floors, rich in warmth and character, combine beautifully with the exposed brick walls, giving the home an authentic and welcoming atmosphere. The furnishings add a distinctive layer to the project: a careful mix of harmony and pop-inspired contrasts brings originality and freshness to the spaces, creating a refined balance between tradition and modernity.
Casa LENO is a historic home renovation project where the charm of the existing architecture meets a contemporary vision of living.
The project reflects the Devincenti approach: respecting the character of the home, enhancing its original elements and integrating furnishings, light and details with balance, without erasing the history of the space.

Historic home renovation: respecting the character of the interiors
In Casa LENO, the project begins by listening to the existing architecture. Every original element, from the terracotta floors to the fireplace, contributes to defining the identity of the home.
Renovating a historic home requires restraint: it is not about adding new elements on top of the existing ones, but about understanding what to preserve, what to enhance and where to intervene to make the interiors more functional and contemporary.
The result is a home that preserves its character while becoming more suited to everyday life, with welcoming spaces, balanced proportions and materials capable of engaging with the memory of the place.
Materiality, warmth and architectural details
The strength of Casa LENO comes from the presence of materiality. Terracotta, fire, warm surfaces and natural textures create an intimate and recognisable atmosphere.
The furnishings are introduced with care, without interrupting the balance of the interiors. Every choice interacts with the context: shapes, colours, finishes and lighting contribute to creating continuity between history and contemporary living.
In this way, the home does not lose its soul, but is guided towards a new phase: more comfortable, elegant and coherent with the people who live in it.
La poltrona The Seletti armchair introduces a contemporary and ironic accent, capable of interacting with the historic character of the home without weighing it down. It is an element of personality that creates contrast, rhythm and recognisability within the space.
The Devincenti method behind the project
Every Devincenti project begins with a process of listening, analysis and bespoke design. Before defining furnishings and materials, we study the space, the light, the existing elements and the type of atmosphere the client wishes to create.
Casa LENO interprets this method through a respectful and sensitive project, where every intervention is carefully calibrated to enhance what already exists.
The value of a historic home renovation lies precisely in its ability to combine memory, comfort and functionality, transforming the interiors without distorting their identity.
Spacious and Versatile Areas
The generous spaces of this historic home offer great flexibility for different ways of living. Whether hosting an intimate evening or welcoming a larger gathering, every area of the home can adapt naturally to the needs of the moment.
The carefully selected furnishings help create versatile and functional interiors, without ever compromising on style.
A table for 14: the heart of conviviality
On the first floor, a table for 14 becomes the central element of the space, expressing the desire for conviviality and sharing that defines this home. The room is designed to be lived together, to welcome special moments with friends and family, and the table becomes the natural focal point of those shared experiences.
A harmony of contrasts
The selection of furnishings plays carefully with harmony and pop-inspired contrasts, creating an interior that feels surprising and full of character. Modern design pieces integrate with traditional elements, giving life to a vibrant and dynamic mix. Every detail is designed to stand out, while maintaining a stylistic coherence that makes each space unique and welcoming.
