Interior design Verona

Elegance and harmony come together inside a Liberty-style building.

In the heart of Verona, inside an elegant Liberty-style building recently renovated under the supervision of Verona Liberty s.r.l., a residential project comes to life, combining warmth, elegance and functionality. Thanks to careful and early planning, the owner was able to overcome the constraints imposed by the existing systems, allowing complete freedom in the definition of the spaces.

Casa MOPA is an interior design project in Verona, created in the heart of the city.

The project stems from the dialogue between the architectural character of the building and a contemporary vision of living. Materials, furnishings, light and proportions are interpreted with balance, creating refined and functional interiors that remain coherent with the identity of the space.

The project reflects the Devincenti approach: listening, bespoke design, material selection and technical attention throughout every stage of the process.

Interior design in Verona: contemporary elegance in a Liberty-style building

In Casa MOPA, the project works on the relationship between architectural memory and contemporary living. The Liberty-style context becomes a presence to be respected and enhanced, without giving up a contemporary interpretation of the spaces.

The interiors are designed with careful attention to materials, finishes and proportions, seeking a balance between refinement, comfort and everyday functionality.

An interior design project in Verona such as Casa MOPA does not simply introduce high-quality furnishings, but builds a precise relationship between home, architecture and way of living.

Materials, light and furnishings for a bespoke home

The selection of materials is central to defining the atmosphere. Surfaces, textures, colours and details are chosen to interact with the identity of the building and with the needs of those who live in the home.

Light accompanies the volumes, enhances the finishes and helps make the interiors feel deeper and more welcoming. The furnishings, instead, are not conceived as isolated elements, but as parts of a coherent composition.

The result is an elegant, balanced and personal home, where every choice contributes to creating continuity between aesthetics and function.

The Devincenti method behind the project

Every Devincenti project begins with a process of listening and analysis. Before defining furnishings, materials and technical solutions, we study the space, the light, the proportions and the type of living experience the client wishes to create.

Casa MOPA interprets this method through a balanced project, where the value of the architectural context meets the search for comfort, quality and contemporary living.

The value of an interior design project in Verona lies precisely in its ability to transform an existing place into a personal, elegant home designed to stand the test of time.

The
The design philosophy

The vision for this apartment was clear from the very beginning: to create a welcoming “shell”, defined by a warm and sophisticated palette, capable of hosting unique and distinctive furnishings. Every detail was carefully studied, from the walls and floors to the ceilings, to ensure overall harmony.

After several tests and renders, including options ranging from total white to darker solutions, a chromatic balance was chosen to combine brightness and warmth. A subtle scale of greys, applied to the living room and kitchen walls, adds depth and dynamism to the space without ever feeling ordinary.

The main living areas

The entrance opens onto a living area that brings together the kitchen, dining table and lounge. The kitchen is the functional heart of the space, a model  Ernestomeda Sign with an island in Stone+ Vega porcelain stoneware, used both for the worktops and for the integrated sink. The full-height columns in matt cast-iron grey glass and the Lucem aluminium groove complete the modern and refined design.

Opposite, the table Cattelan Italia Roll Keramik table (300 x 150 cm), with a porcelain stoneware top and anthracite base, is paired with Cattelan Rhonda chairs, combining leather seats with embossed anthracite structures. The living area, slightly set apart, is enhanced by the
Saba Italia Pixel sofa, whose texture and stitching give the design a distinctive character.

Sleeping area and bathroom

In the bedrooms, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom, the same philosophy of creating warm and soft interiors has been maintained. Natural materials such as wood and stone dominate these spaces, bringing a sense of comfort and intimacy. The bedroom is furnished with the suspended  Lago Fluttua bed, paired with bedside tables from the same brand, while the wardrobe Molteni Gliss Master ensures both functionality and style.

The importance of personalisation

This project demonstrates how attention to detail and customization can make a difference. From the layout of spaces to the choice of materials, everything was designed to meet the client’s needs, tastes, and expectations. The result is a harmonious, elegant apartment that fits perfectly into Verona’s historical context while maintaining a contemporary outlook.
